Issues with MIUI Music

Hey everyone,
I just noticed that whenever I try to use navigation while playing music, the music stops. No FC, just a stoppage in play. This made an 8 hour drive incredibly frustrating (I don't keep CD's in the car since I always use my phone). Any ideas on how to remedy this? Or am I the only one experiencing this?
