Issues after Froyo

I did the manual update to Froyo. I've had all sorts of issues:

1. It seems to always lock-up when doing anything in the gallery. I try to share a pic to facebook and it locks-up for a while then force-closes EVERY time.
2. Any time it force closes an app, it totally restarts the phone. More time to wait.

I removed all of the apps that didn't say that works with froyo. I've cleared the cache dozens of times to no avail. I've searched and searched but there's only so much time in the day.
If anyone can point me in the right direction or share so tips of happiness it would be greatly appreciated.
