I don't use the app but I believe you need to have an email address for it. No? So like that I would save whatever you have on the app

Hello, welcome to the forum. I don't use Ink Pad either but a quick internet search brings up their About App page and they indicate that a Google account is required to sync notes between their web servers and your phone. So it doesn't seem like a scam, Ink Pad states that a Google account is required.
