Is the Droid 4G ready?

i ope the second gen droid has 4g that would be great

doesnt the droid have a SIM card slot to the right of the SD Card slot? Does this mean it might be able to do 4G?

if not they may make the next gen 4g because everyone would want it

had. only the milestone has a functioning SIM slot.

Sorry to pull a Frankenstein and resurrect this thread but I've seen a lot about the Droid X being 4G "Capable"...in that it would take an OTA upgrade to activate the "hidden" 4G chip. Any possibility to this? Anyone take apart the X yet? I have a rooted UD8 Droid1 that I love, so no change for me!

Droid X is not 4G capable. That is science fiction.

well to you guys whom believe that your current phone is "secretly" LTE capable......do me a favor and increase my odds of getting my hands on one of the new LTE capable phone's when they come out by just waiting for that magic OTA update, while I stand in line for a new one...
