Is the Driod X2 much better than Driod X?

Are you serious? by saying that the DX2 do not have much ram? comparing to what? there is not much differnt between the Driod X2 and Driod X, Correct me if I am wrong, the Motorola Droid X2 and DX share quite a few traits. Both phones have 4.3-inch-sized displays. Both have 512MB of RAM. Both have 8MP rear-facing cameras with 720p HD video capture, and both have HDMI out-ports. There is one slightly strange change on the storage front: Though both the Droid X2 and the original Droid X have 8GB of internal storag. I am very interesting in seeing performance differences between the two phones because of the X2 having a dual core chip in it.

Compared to every other phone I've had. D2g, Eris, LG vortex all had more ram. When u hit the task killer us have 200 - 350 depending on which phone ur talking about. The x2 has 120 - 190 in used at best. Every other web page u view leaves u with about 65 m

I upgraded from the LG vortex to the Droid x2. I'm strongly considering returning it. It has very little ram. And its the only moto Droid without a bootstrap recovery available. None on market and the one for rom manager doesn't work. Am probably just going back to my vortex for the remainder of my contract.

There is actually a bootstrap recovery out for the dx2. I think koush ported the ATRIX bootstrap. I'm running the eclipse rom and it is sick. It is very fast.

This is my first smartphone so I have nothing to compare to.

But if I were you I would go with the bionic. That looks like a sick phone. It also has a bunch of ram and 4g

I've had my Droid X2 for almost two weeks.I upgraded from the Moto Droid so far I love it...I needed to upgrade and I did read some reviews b4 but so far I'm very pleased.

Also if you aren't satisfied I would recommend this rom. I used to have problems with my music. Now its great and my battery life is much better.
