Iphone to Android switch

I'm sorry if I missed it (I did do a forum search)...

Is there a Iphone to android switch users guide? What do i need to know? What are the must have Apps? Do I need to rethink certain things? What is needed to know about the Sync, as it is completely different.

I don't think that sync is different. Should be IMAP still. You can use POP3 too though.

My girlfriend is in the process of switching. Setting up K9 (a free mail app) to look and act like the iphone app takes some doing, but she's happy with it now.

Like anything new (and not simple) it will probably be somewhat frustrating at first, but the great thing about android is there's always a way to solve a problem...usually by downloading something from the market or finding an answer on this site.

Don't use task killers, don't use antivirus.
