iPhone 6, Galaxy S5 & Nexus 6 Most Google'd Consumer Electronics Devices in 2014

It's that time again when Google releases their compilation of the most searched for items of the past year. The most searched for topics are always quite telling as to where our collective interests lie throughout the year. In the category of consumer electronics, although the top device was the iPhone 6, the next five devices listed are all Android phones. Here they are in order:

• Samsung Galaxy S5
• Nexus 6
• Moto G
• Samsung Galaxy Note 4
• LG G3

Interestingly, the next three devices are the Xbox One, the Apple Watch and the Nokia X.

Another surprising factoid emerged from Google's list... Flappy Birds was number 6 on the "master list" of total searches. It's very strange what us human beings find interesting sometimes...

Flappy Birds... number 6, huh? WOW! I'd be real curious to know how many unique IPs searched that term. It would be quite telling of the collective mentality of the human population. Even more interesting would be to know how many of those were corporate IPs.
