An XDA poster stated the following data for radio bands in the 6p. I "greened" the data pertinent to the US model.

2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - all models

CDMA 800 / 1900 - all models

3G bands HSDPA 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 - Global model
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - American model

4G bands
LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 9(1800), 17(700), 19(800), 20(800), 28(700), 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300), 41(2500) - Global model

LTE band 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 25(1900), 26(850), 29(700), 30(2300), 41(2500) - American model

I will be traveling to Uganda and was curious if I could use the 6p with a Ugandan SIM card so I looked up what cellular bands are used there. This is what I found:

If I am understanding this correctly, as long as I purchase an MTN SIM card, I will be good to go for both cellular and data. Is this correct?

I've used my phones overseas many times before but only as a wifi device. I've never used the cellular or data functions and never tried a foreign SIM before. I appreciate the assistance.

From that list, it looks like it should work without any issues. 3G 900 and 2100 bands and 4G 800
