Intermittent connection issues

Droid Incredible / 2.2 / Bone Stock. The only non-stock apps are k9 mail and touchdown.

Had it set up for about 3 weeks this way with no problem. Now since yesterday, I get intermittent connectivity issues. What happens is the phone more or less stop connecting to the internet. It stops mail from coming in and I can't get onto the internet through the browser. Oddly enough google.com always seems to work (can't explain this one).

The only way to fix the issue to actually pull the battery, simply rebooting the phone is ineffective.

Is this a known problem, any way to fix this? Thanks for any help!

I have the exact same problem. CS told me that it is a problem with my phone (hardware issue). I just got it this week and they told me to return it for a new one. I'm not sure what to think about this issue, it seems to be popping up with quite a few people. Kind of an odd question but are you using the stock OEM battery?

Are you in an area that will be getting LTE soon?
Numerous people all over the country are having all sorts of issues on many phones and I personally believe it's the getting ready for LTE myself
I'm not part of the initial launch BUT this past weekend something happened in my area. All our phones shut off last Saturday night and over this past week I have discovered numerous problems. Mine had the wrong PRL, my Dare and wifes Exilim both were on EVDO only, my oldest daughters was on 1x only for battery life savings and it changed to hybrid mode and my middle daughters cosmos kept losing connection until a *228 and put the same PRL back on it.

I'm new to this. What is LTE? I'm in the Boston, MA area.

For what it's worth, this problem somehow solved itself. I didn't do anything. I do not use a stock battery.

LTE = long term evolution, aka 4g.
