Insurance claim

Just wondering if anybody knew if me having a custom rom would interfere with me doing an insurance claim on my x since I broke my screen ? I know my warranty is shot but didn't know about the insurance.

If...and I say this as a big IF.....they find that it's rooted you are in for some hefty fines. That's what I have heard from a reliable source. is the screen completely inopperable?? do you think you could sbf back to stock?

I could sbf if I knew how, screen still works, but couldn't I just restore the back up I made when I installed clockwork, unroot, and delete all the rooted apps?

if you can do that I would....just make sure it's stock before sending it in.

There are a dozen "how to" SBF your phone instructions posted on this forum alone and it really isn't that difficult just follow the instructions.

I like many others here would just SBF and take your microSD card out. That way they have no reason to think you rooted it.

SBFing is an easy process. A flash takes 10 minutes max.
