Installation error

Does anyone know what would cause an installation error on apps? Its not on all apps. I've tried clearing cache and redownloading with no success. It gives the error cannot be installed on USB storage or SD card. Some apps are already installed but can't update.

Turn off your phone then turn it on let everything load then redownload and your problem should be solved.

Where did you get the apps? Are they downloaded themed apps from the net?

Everything is from the android market and like I said some of them are on my phone but now wont update. Aldiko book reader had been on my phone for ninths and then started with the installation error about a month n a half ago.

Did you clear the Market data in applications/ manage applications? Did you recently install a rom and not wipe everything?

Just guessing trying to help you.

Today I just had that issue with a game and rebooted and was able to download just fine. If it installs to sd card make sure you have enough free space.

I Def. Didn't install rom but I can't swear I didn't clear the market thinking I was doing something else. If I did how do I correct it?

You could try menu> settings> applications> manage applications> all> market and try clearing cache and if that doesn't work try clearing data.

Only other thing I could think of is uninstall then reinstall.

I'd clear the data. It will ask you to accept the markets terms *again , just click accept. It has fixed some of my market issues.

So I cleared the data and the apps that wouldn't update are working fine on my phone but not showing installed in the market. I also saw that it looks like my market updater and my certificate installer are gone. Is there a way to reinstall those?
