This chick I'm following has giant bold text in her name on Instagram. Anybody familiar with the app knows you can't change your font. I'm wondering how she did it?

You can view her page in your computer browser and also see the bold text.

I'm able to copy and paste her text to my own profile name and it shows up the same as hers, but I can't type my own letters in the same format.

Anyone know how she did it? I want to add my own text after my name on Instagram.

So I found out that these people are not using text, but in fact they have an iPhone and are using an Emoji icon, that shows up as giant text on my phone.

Today a friend of mine had big bold "US" on his Instagram. I asked him how he did that, he said he's using an Emoji icon of an American flag and he doesn't see letters.

Explains a lot.

Narrowed it down to the Flags that are only showing up as big letters for Android. The woman in my first post had "GBUS" because she had an emoji of a Great Britain and United States flag.
