Insecure-Disable Kernel Wifi problem

Hi,
So I picked up an M8 to replace my bricked Note 2 and rooted it and all that jazz today.
I tried to flash the Insecure-Disable Kernel (Original Post from XDA) but when I do, I lose my Wifi. Like it won't turn on at all.
Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

I'm on 4.4.2 btw

I'd flash another kernel or reflash your ROM ..first thing eliminate if kernel is the cause

It's the stock ROM, I haven't changed that. I backed up before I did anything, so I went back a few times and applied each thing one at a time. Only one to cause the no wifi was the kernel.
