Somewhere, somehow, we need to standardize a bit. Even if we keep the robot smiley, we need to expand/change the translation to conform with the rest of the industry. I send 
for , but I receive . Neither one of us gets to see the intended emoticon. shouldn't be that hard to either expand the lookup table to include both and (as well as the other symbols).
