Incoming MMS video message always a QPS file

Can't figure this out...everytime I recieve a video message it always shows up as the audio file .qps and a jpeg image. Is there a setting I need to enable in order to view and play video mms messages? It doesn't matter if it comes from a blackberry, iphone, etc.
