I'm having a lot of trouble with this

My incredible stopped working for me 2 days ago. Whenever I turn it on it freezes at the white htc incredible screen. It's possible to get into clockwork but whenever I try to flash a new rom it gives me an error saying

Cant oPen sdcard/clockworkmod/download/cyanogen
Instalation aborted

And when I try to restore a backup it gives says no app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext


What is the sd ext because I think there is something wrong with mine.


Please help I need my phone to work and I'm really frustrated with this.

Skipping the sd-ext is normal. Thats where if you had apps2sd on your sd card would be. Get another rom on your sd flash that. Preferably a Sense style rom.
