If droid is stolen?

So I was wondering what happens if a droid was stolen before it is activated? Can it still be tracked at all? What can I do if it does get stolen but has no tracking programs activated? Thanks.

Sorry, but if it hasn't even been activated yet you are out of luck.

It might be possible that if you had the phones serial number they could flag it and then it someone tried to activate the phone they would know. That way the person who stole it would get caught and you might get your phone back.

if your phone was stolen call VZW and they will blacklist the number so you cant reactivate it

It was stolen before activation. Does verizon keep a list of serial numbers? Also the phone was not linked to my number yet so they wouldn't be able to block it that way would they?

If you bought it from Verizon then they know the eisn number for the phone and can blacklist that number.

As them helping to recover the phone....not likely.
