Ics update

My sons Rezound still has not recieved the its ics update, he did get a notice from Vzw about ics and how to download. When he does the check for updates, it says no updates available.
Any suggestions?

What is his current software release, go to Settings-About Phone-Software information and what is the software number, should be something like: "3.14.605.12 710RD" or similar. Also, has he ever flashed any RUU or custom ROM?
