ICS this week?

Ok everyone. I know there is alot of excitement about getting it and not getting it. But a few people got out of hand last night. Same rules apply today. Foul language and bypassing the swear filter will not be tolerated. If it gets out of hand the thread will be locked down for a while.

Just a friendly reminder.

I am in Va as well. I'm guessing location has nothing to do with it though. No update here for me yet.

OK i have spent 24 hours reading all the posts and checking my phone for updates, even woke up during the night and reached for the phone to check.
Nothing yet at all.
So I am changing my strategy.
I love Gingerbread and hope they never push ICS to my phone

Hahaha! Good plan!

Nothing here in TN.

But that's OK. I don't give out my number and keep my ringer off. The only thing I use the phone for is to check for system updates, so it will be useless once I actually get one.

Good luck to all you Razr neophytes! I have the Nexus, so I been rocking ICS for a while now. Just got it on my Xoom a couple of weeks back. So I am in operating system Nirvana! ICS is the best Android version so far.

1. In NYC..got ICS 7am. Droid Razr.
2. Other members of my household HAVE NOT received it.
3. Phones purchased same day.
4. Phones on same plan/bill.
Hopes this helps with anxiety.
Not in love with:
screen brightness settings
Network -data-global options may be hard for some to understand

And you can try this. Supposedly worked for the Nexus users: The normal procedure to check for an update is to go into Settings > About Phone > System Update > Check Now.

You can force your device into grabbing the update by going into Settings > Apps > All. From there, scroll down and select Google Service Framework. Tap on Clear Data, accept the warning, then tap on Force Stop and accept the warning again.

Once you have cleared and stopped the Google Service Framework, go back and check for a System Update as you normally would. You're Galaxy Nexus will then look for the update, and odds are, it's going to find it this time.

Domt worry...im over here 20 minutes oitside of DC, checking my system updates every hour to 2 hours, and I havent seen a single notification, txt, or email from anyone regarding anything. I have to read these forums to catch up on news lol. Hang in there, this time next week all RAZRs will be oh so creamy.
