I just got the OTA in Pittsburgh.

Are you sure it's not the notification that everyone is getting about the update coming within a week?

maybe there sending them notifications out because there gonna start the ota updates and it can take a few days till everyone gets the ota. so there saying that within a week you will have it. i still havent gottn any notification or anything.

I received the same notification a few minutes ago. Heck! just give me the darn thing and stop all these teasing.

So should the update get released today, will I be able to update to ICS by temporarily unrooting with Voodoo and re-root?

I turned on my phone. Saw that icon up top. I pulled down the notification bar and saw. SW update. I got so excited. Opened it up red the whole thing. Pressed OK. And nothing happened. That kinda ruined my day.

You may be running a leaked version of ICS, but I doubt you're running the OTA.

I kinda wish they would do it the way Samsung did one of my updates on an older phone when I was on T-Mobile, you had to connect via Samsung Kies (Motorola could develop their own software) and had the option to download it via your computer. Either way, they should be able to push it out faster, between google, verizon and motorola, there is some serious money and servers that they should be able to use to load everyone fast!!!
