Ok, so I guess I will have to ask, but why do you say that it will not happen until 8pm PST? Are you in the know?? Educated guess?? Or just starting yet another rumor about an update that has had hundreds of rumors??

Just tons of past experiences they never release it till late and not everyone will get it at the same time and im saying 8pm pst. No1 will know a exact time so put it under educated guess. But its getting pretty late so tbh it could happen any time now but the was a 0% chance that it was happening before 6pm est

FWIW...From Motorola's faq update today at 3:43 pm est:

When will my DROID RAZR or DROID RAZR MAXX Receive the ICS Software Update? A select number of DROID RAZR by Motorola and DROID RAZR MAXX by Motorola owners will start receiving the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich this week as part of our standard upgrade process; broader deployments will come over the coming days.

my guess is that with all the buzz and frenzy today, motorola wanted to quell the storm so they posted this update only a few hours ago.

But then again...I'm sure Verizon would ask Motorola to let it go during the day while people AREN'T at home using Wi-Fi, so that way they could eat up 300mb easily from their plan, and hoping that they go over their limit for the month equaling profit ($$$) for them. :biggrin:
