ICS this week?

I think Monday (or the EOM) is Moot at this point, Fact is IF the soak started then Moto has satisfied it's "deadline" and all is well from a PR standpoint.
Really no hurry now, it will proceed at whatever pace the results support.
 
Yeah, but not a single thread on ANY forum chat board has anybody confirmed that they are now running an official ICS upgrade!!!!

Soak either hasn't started yet... or people are actually holding to their confidentiality agreement?? :blink:

I'm willing to bet it's not the 2nd one. lol
 
Yea that would be my guess soak will probably roll out tonight and the rest will get it Monday. I just hope a soak tester host the file so we all done have to wait till Monday.
 
I think the whole "Confidentiallity" thing is just a ploy for exactly what it does - spurs publicity. IF secrecy was all that important how many Moto/VZW employees do you think own Razrs/Maxxs ??? There is your secret soak right there.
Only ways more than ONE person can keep a secret is IF the other one is Dead OR you can Fire them, that works too.
 
I just got done reading the CNET article that someone linked and someone in the comments with the screen name GAMarcusGA posted - HAHAHAHA GOT IT IN GEORGIA....AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I copied and pasted that directly from the CNET comments. Is anyone here from GA and if so have you gotten it? I'm calling BS.

If it was rolling out in Georgia I'm sure someone in here would have posted, or at least other boards would be blowing up right now. That comment was posted at 9:56am PDT.

I'm in GA... haven't gotten it. And I "may" or "may not" have received a survey email several days ago. And if I did receive that email that was the last thing I have heard.

I JUST got off the phone with Verizon technical support. He said "it is a staggered roll out. Going out to 200,000 people at a time. Also said that doing a manual check for an update will not work. And lastly, it is the official release, not soak testing."

So I then asked when I could expect the update and he said 1-5 days.
