ICS this week?

Display-screen is always the biggest drain on battery. 70% for screen is pretty high. Do you have screen time out set to 1 min or less? Do you have apps that are set to keep the screen on (music apps, notification triggers, etc)?

I'm not impatient but everybody elses interest in the update has got me going update crazy, I feel as if I'm missing out on some spectacular life changing ordeal when in reality I'm sure the update is going to be a let down from the bloated expectations.

I am neither. Just waiting like everyone else who hasnt gotten it yet. I'm just trying to keep things in perspective. What's worse in your opinion? Getting a buggy, laggy, OS or waiting a few extra days for a smooth OS with minor issues?

the display is set to sleep @1min. sync is off. may have to petition verizon for a maxx upgrade...(fat chance)

i have been running ICS on my Asus eee pad since March. i don't have anywhere near the battery usage as i'm having with my og razr.

Yea I've got no problem with the bugs being worked out. What I don't like is Verizon claiming that it had been released and is currently being released

I think I am starting to get under the skin off the VZW people too. I keep calling them on their BS. They sent me a link to their June 22 announcement that ICS has been released. I sent them a link to Motorola website showing that the update is in "testing".

Okay. I am watching I/O live. And they are demoing Jelly Bean.

Lol. While i'm sure it may be fun for some of you, torturing VZW employees wont get the update any faster lol. And as far as jelly bean goes.....yeah.....i feel like getting used to or enjoying a specific type of technology is like chasing after the wind.

It's not that i'm enjoying torturing them. I just want honest answers and updates. Been a loyal customer for over 10 years. With the speed and ease of electronic communication there is no reason they can't give us timely and honest updates...

Well you need to be more annoyed with Motorola then. They push out the updates from what I understand not Verizon so I am not really surprised that Verizon does not really know what is going on since they are not in charge of the roll out. :wackoits all just so confusing and now with Jelly Bean rolling out in mid-July to the Nexus people are really going to be crying foul).

I can respect that. Just keep in mind that some of them may truly have no idea themselves and only say what they are told. Dont get me wrong, i'm not trying to defend them or belittle you or anyone else. I guess i'm at a point of, i'll get ics when i get it...if i dont then life goes on.

I have been on ics for about a week now. Battery life is pretty bad. I wonder if us leak installers will get the ota if they change it to fix the battery issue
