I got my Ics update and I'm having a timestamp problem with my text messaging....so if i do a factory reset will i still have ics?

Yes, you will still have ICS. Be sure to backup what you want to save (text msgs, call logs, etc) before you do an fdr. The fdr should make your phone run much better.
