I want to go back to Stock Android

This is my first post here so I am sorry if this question has already been answered ( I looked for a while and didn't find one).
I have the Droid Razr and I got tired of waiting on ICS so I rooted my phone then installed Eclipse on it. When I did this I made a back up of my Original stock Android ROM. After using Eclipse for a while I really would like to go back to the stock Android ROM but for what ever reason my backup I made does not work. When i try to boot into it nothing happens it just boots into Eclipse like normal. I was really hoping that there was a way that I would be able to download the original ROM aging? Any thoughts or Ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Everything you need is right here on one of our sub-forums, the Hacks forum... I am assuming since you said you got tired of waiting for ICS, that your phone is still running the Gingerbread Kernel. If so, then first, you will need to run the http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...1-6-now-contains-6-12-181-fastboot-files.html and Fastboot back to Gingerbread. You then have a choice to either check for updates and download and install the OTA update to ICS .211, or go to http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr-hacks/216562-droid-razr-utility-1-8-a.html, follow the instructions for Fastboot to ICS Version .211 and you're good to go. If you don't fastboot back to Gingerbread BEFORE updating to ICS, you will brick your phone.

On the other hand, if you were already updated to ICS and then decided to install a 3rd party ROM over the ICS, you would only need the 2nd utility to Fastboot back to .211.

What mode does my phone need to be in? I am running in to the problem when I use the utility and pick the gingerbread install it just keeps saying waiting for device.

MTP media device or Camera...also make sure usb debugging is checked under settings..developer options.

Not sure you got this working....

Also keep in mind that Matts Utility 1.8 are for devices with ICS installed..sounds like you're using an earlier version since you are on GB but just wanted to make sure...as stated above by the "sly" Fox..people mistakenly tried using 1.8 to update from GB to ICS and bricked their phone..just an FYI..
