I'm new to all of this, so.. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid. But, I rooted my Droid Eris yesterday. I also went here: Live Wallpapers for HTC Droid Eris and did this. However, only the lock screen showed up [which I do not like] and the live wallpaper did not work. So how do I delete it off of my phone? I don't want the lock screen on the phone anymore. Thanks. :greendroid:

I'm not sure how to get rid of the lock screen, but you can make it look better.

Grab an app called widget locker and you can customize it.

To remove the lock screen, get app called root explorer, open it and allow su if it pops up.. look for file called system. Select it then select app. Locate the lock screen and remove it.. this is probably or most definitely a system app, so removing it may cause undesirable problems. If you want live wallpapers, flash a new ROM. Cm7 gsb 2.3.5 is what I'm using... oh yeah, when removing the system lock,
you might have to select r/w on the mount options.. if you need more help let me know!
