I have to return my phone to Verizon. It has issues that they aren't able to fix so they offered to send me a DX2 to replace it.

I unrooted my phone. I got rid of Super User, and Busy Box. And I plan to factory reset my phone before I ship it to Verizon.

While rooted I had Rom Manager Premium on my phone. I used the Clockwork Mod Recovery all of the time. Now I cant find a way to
get rid of the CM Recovery. I'm not sure if Verizon will find it and have an issue.....

How do I get rid of the recovery??????

Thanks in advance

SBFing would definitely do the trick. It will put the phone to completely stock from where you can take the OTA (should you decide to) and then leave it unrooted.

I don't know how to SBF...

I rooted with Z4 Root and only used root to take screen shots and make back ups of my apps in Titanium Backup.

I really don't know what to do here...

It's not too bad of a process. I would recommend searching "Droid X SBF" or "How to SBF my Droid" and you will find a number of very detailed guides on how to do it. There are also several video guides so you can actually see the whole process take place.
