I need an app to use my laptop

I read awhile ago of a free app where you can use your phone to have wireless internet on your laptop. Any clues? Please email me or post here since I'm on the road and in need of assistance.

Are you rooted or unrooted?

I know of 2 for unrooted....PDANet and EasyTether...both in market - download app to phone and you will have to go to website to download software for laptop...

Well here's the deal and maybe you can help out. I am on the road on vacation and have no wifi hotspots on the highway while the girlfriend is driving. I have a homework assignment I need to turn in ASAP. I just remember seeing someone posting about an app where you could use your Droids data plan or something like it
