I need an app: music autoplay when headphones inserted

Title pretty much says it all
If the playlist is paused, I would like it to play
If no playlist is selected, I would like it to play whatever was played last

At one point I was using an application called tasker to do this for me
But it was pretty buggy and stopped working one day (found out it had expired)

Would be cool cause my headphones get unplugged at the gym but unfortunately I don't think theres such am app. Maybe email one of the developers of the known music apps currently available

One app that is great at things like this is Setting Profiles. Download the Lite version and see if it does what you want. I have the full version ($2.95) which allows unlimited rules (it's like Locale, but better). The lite version allows one rule, but I see that one condition is when "wired headset attached." You can create a rule that starts an app when the condition is met. I just tried it and when I plug a headset in, the app starts right up. I haven't played with it to see if the screen has to be on or not, but give it a shot. I also don't know if it hits the play button or if you still have to press it. I had it load Slacker it is started playing on it's own when I plugged the headset in. Good luck.

I found a program that does this!!!
DroidShuffle. It's made for use with a headset with media controls, but there is an option to start music on headphone insert
Tested and it works
