I don't have sound

When I answer the phone I have no sound. And my music won't play without headphones. Does anybody know what I should do? Please help

Yes :welcome:. If you have an ally, it should still be under manufacturers warranty. I would return it as this sounds like a hardware issue that we here wouldn't be able to help you with.

Hey thanks guys. Yeah I jave the extra insurance on it and I'm sad to say this is my second ally. My first one stopped viberating. And now this has no in call sound. Maybe I should just get another phone.

I have the exact same problem as the original poster.

My music no longer makes a sound unless earphones or a similar jack is plugged in. I also get no sound from videos using my Youtube app. I still hear my ringtone when I receive a call as well as hear the alert from a text or email.

But my music played just fine last week.

And to answer Droid DOES' question my current downloaded apps are: well I only have Shortyz crosswords downloaded. The rest are factory loaded apps. And Shortyz has never caused my music to go silent as I've had that app for months.

Please help, if you can.

:welcome: to the forum. But my answer for you is going to be exactly as it was for the OP. IMHO something like this is a hardware failure, so a trip (or a phone call) to big red is in order.
