I did absolutely nothing all day...

I didn't feel like going into work today (fortunately I'm salaried via your tax dollars ) so I just sat around and installed/checked out apps, and adjusted the way I have my phone set up.

Some notable apps or settings (thanks largely in part to this wonderful forum) that made my day thus far:

- Locale...set my options for at night and whatnot to solve the issue of not wanting to hear notifications but wanting to get calls at night

- TripIt...for someone like me that travels 3 weeks out of the year, this damn app is amazing! It also indirectly solves my issue from here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-applications/17159-problem-opening-pdf-documents.html

- More Icons and App Manager applications have actually freed up an entire home screen, and it could be more but my third home screen just has a bunch of junk on it and a huge calendar widget.

On man, I work in engineering. My boos absolutely HATES cell phones. I had a BB b/4 the Droid and I always had it on vibrate. These days I put the phone on my desk with the sound on and let the chips fall where they may....

well basically at work I am hidden in a corner and no one knows if I am even at my desk unless the get up and walk over and look. it = Major WIN! but at the same time I know the other guys and office manager are at their desks, on the local news websites, cnn, weather channel etc. whilst I browse DF.com and mess around with my DROID.

I do however do the most work at my work besides the salesman who works his ass off trying to drum up sales and commission to pay his bills.
