For Verizon you got the Thunderbolt(not a Droid), the Bionic, the DX2, the D3, and the Incredible 2 coming out this year. So all current Droids getting updates this year. The only 4G Droid will be the Bionic....and the Thunderbolt is also 4G.

That'd be too easy.....they like making us make these tough decisions.
Any phone you pick you should be happy with for a while.
I might return the R2D2 and get a Thunderbolt...but that's me. Its a tough choice though.

You are asking about the latest model and such but the irony is that if you look at this in retrospect you already are outdated the day you bought it because from what I believe the Droid 2 Global is more advance because of a faster processor. Also the droid X i believe is better a. because I have one =) and b. "HDMI port, 3 different microphones, 8-megapixel auto-focus camera, handset's internals and batteries are well protected thanks to their metal like rear covers". Got this information from

PS if I sound rude I do not mean that in any way I was just saying the second you buy any technology it can already be outdated, people choose a model depending on personal preference so that is the deciding factor and if you do not know all the specs and want to always be dated always ask on this great forum before buying even though it will only be a matter of a month before something new comes out.
