Is there a way to have the email automatically download images rather than hitting the show images button?

I don't know if it works on the phone(looked around the menus on the phone and could not find anything that would work) but i know if you go to your gmail account on a computer and then settings, just select show external content from trusted contacts. again don't know if this setting would transfer to the droid or not.
