HTC will be releasing their new X10 phablet device which takes place of last years X9 phablet later this month. According to a source who has had hands on time with the new version of the device the phone is basically the same phone with a slightly better camera. The specs mostly remain the same other than the fact that HTC will be using the less powerful version of the Mediatek processor that was used in the X9. The chip will be the Octa-Core MT6755V/C clocked at 1.9GHz and teamed up with the Mali T860 GPU. The X9 chip was similar but was clocked at 2.2GHz. The phone will feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and 1080P screen. The main improvement here is with the camera. The new X10 features a 16.3MP rear camera and a 7.9MP front camera. HTC will reportedly release two more devices. They have plans for a higher end phablet device and the follow up to the flagship HTC 10.
