HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

I am willing to bet that the reason verizon is letting best buy release the phone on the 14th and they haven't announced anything yet is because if best buy releases it, it doesn't really affect the verizon iPhone thing goin on.

You have a point, Verizon stores get the iPhone while BestBuy gets the TB (which explains why bestbuy has orders not to promote the Verizon iPhone).

It makes Sense now (no pun intended)!

In that case don't expect anything out of Verizon until this iPhone bulls*it has come and gone (feb 10)... sigh....

And I agree, why don't they just tell us pricing and the release date already! Oh yeah, the iPhone.... If only there was something we could do about that lol

I too would like to know if I can activate the phone myself....if it's 249.99 as it is I deff don't want to pay even more for retarded fees. Anyone know anything about this?

But let's be realistic! If BestBuy has a Verizon phone, it makes... Sense! that Verizon stores would have it too, right? I really doubt a phone would ONLY be available at BestBuy, my money is on Verizon getting it the 14th too.

yea, the vzn rep i talked to looked at me like I was crazy when i asked if BB was getting it before the stores, she was saying she never thought they would do that...I have a feeling Verizon is keeping a lot of people out of the loops, even their own employees

I called and asked if I could activate it myself after reading the thread and they said no??? Seriously, Verizon has you do it online if you want or over the air... it takes NO time to do it, certainly not worth $35!!

Like a firm no, or a unsure no...that's a bunch of bull. I guess I shouldve waited until VZW let her loose. Already getting the shaft from Best Buy all because I gotta have it as soon as possible..

Isn't the activation fee just for when you add a new line or start a new contract, when I upgraded at BB they didn't charge me an activation fee
