This is a good sign. As of earlier today, the Best Buy website did not show the Thunderbolt specs when searched "Thunderbolt" just accessories and movies.

That's hilarious. I searched Thunderbolt like 30 minutes ago and got the movies only. Seems like a 24 launch to me...

I just searched the bestbuy.com website and found NOTHING... at 10:47 eastern time... just movies... 17 of them, to be exact. Perhaps it's a hoax?

I still see it. It isn't a part of the 17 items, it's above all of those.

If I'm paying $300+ for a phone on a 2 year contract that isn't dual core, has a 1400 mAh battery and does not even have 4g in my area that would be highway robbery.

If the TBolt really ends up costing $300 I guess I won't be upgrading early. Probably just make myself wait it out till my NE2 kicks in mid-May. At least that way the Bionic will be out and throughly reviewed too.

Goto bestbuy.com click on weekly ad click on the cover and goto page 10 says 249.99 course this for a San Antonio ad so idk but should be the same for all right?

If I'm paying $300+ for a phone on a 2 year contract that isn't dual core, has a 1400 mAh battery and does not even have 4g in my area that would be highway robbery.

By the time you get a dual-core phone that is actually optimized for the processor when 4G comes to your area, prices for the data will be increased and maybe even tiered. This is why I'm jumping on the Thunderbolt as soon as possible.

Where did all these people who either own or want to own a VZW android phone come from?

IIRC, VZW was going to lose about 1/3 of customer base due to D1 release situation. VZW was going to lose about 1/3 of customer base due to DX release situation. Now it looks as if they'll lose another 1/3 due to TB release situation.

FWIW: I'm staking my extensive reputation on this forum that 2/28 is the release date. I went by my VZW store and talked to the rep who sold me my 2 previous Droids. He assured me that the TB would release 2/28. Was kinda giving me grief about it since I can't upgrade until 3/23. Guess that'll give me about 3 weeks to hear about test drives and grow green with envy.

lol i hate to get into a "my rep is better than yours, time for a competition!" battle. haha. But my rep was looking at the order screen in their system when he said they are arriving the 23rd, and selling the morning of the 24th. Theres a lot of conflicting dates here... Only time will tell, but I'm pretty sure on the 24th. Lets hope he is right, and they dont decide to sit on them for a few more weeks to let the iphone sell more. But if youre right then that is still way better than early march.

BTW that story is based off of the March mobile phone buyers guide that says 299.99 but the ad says 249.99 sorry if I'm missing something.
