HTC Stock Music player

Since the ICS Update, The stock HTC Music player will now play FLAC files. Prior to the update it would not. Sounds pretty good. In fact I think I like the beats sound profile with Etymotic HF5's.
I have not seen this commented on as an ICS feature. Did anyone else notice this?

Before ICS my music players sounded horrid at best but now stock is more than acceptable and Power Amp is back to the awesome I'm used to on other devices using it.
