Since CES this year, we've seen a bunch of new tablets on the horizon from Asus, Acer, LG, Samsung and of course the big-dog the Motorola Xoom. It looks like HTC is ready to get in this game too. Reports indicate they are readying their new HTC Flyer series of Android tablets for Q2 of 2011. The Flyer will at first come with Gingerbread 2.3, but HTC has indicated it will be upgradable to Honeycomb 3.0 when it becomes available. Descriptions suggest that this new tablet will be similar to an enlarged HTC Desire smartphone. Interesting... it's nice to see that HTC doesn't want to get left behind in the tablet PC wars. We'll be looking out for this one, and alert you when more details surface.
