HTC Reveals 2 Mid-Range Devices (Desire 816 & 610) Before HTC One

Update: We erroneously reported that February 25th would be the reveal of the HTC One successor, but the dates from our source were confused. The actual date is what we have reported previously (March 25th). We apologize for the inconvenience and have updated this article appropriately.

HTC is warming up to their big "All New HTC One" flagship device unveiling. They plan to launch the HTC One on March 25th, but today they first revealed two new mid-range/budget friendly devices. One is the Desire 610 and the other is the Desire 816.

Here's a spec-list for the Desire 816:

• 5.5-inch 720p HD display
• 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor
• 8GB of internal storage plus microSDXC support for an additional 64GB
• 1.5GB of RAM
• 13-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capture capability
• 2,600 mAh battery
• HTC’s “BoomSound” front-facing speakers
• HTC Sense on top of Android

Here are the details of the Desire 610:

• 4.7-inch qHD display
• 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset
• 8GB of internal storage and microSDXC support
• 1GB of RAM
• 8-megapixel camera
• 2,040 mAh battery
• HTC’s Sense software with Android
• BoomSound and BlinkFeed

They look like their made out of plastic...pretty cheap plastic like the IPhone 5C. And their specs are low end too so idk..bout this
