One of the greatest reasons to pay full price for a Google Play Edition version of a phone rather than the subsidized price for a locked down carrier version is the fact that they receive updates much quicker than their counterparts. HTC has begun the official rollout of Lollipop for the HTC One M7 GPE. The update is 511mb and will bring all of the new material design features. There is no Sense in this build since its GPE. If you have not received the OTA yet you can download it now. To install the OTA update you will need to have the stock recovery installed, you will need to currently be running 4.4.4, and your device should have no modified system partition. If you would prefer to flash the ota through TWRP there is a Nandroid backup available which you can download and then restore in TWRP.
