Hi I have dx but my friend wanted to know if there was a way yet to root his phone or at least get it to tether. Is there?

I used easytether on my X even before I was rooted and my mom uses it on her unrooted LG Ally. Its not necessary to root for it...

How is it gonna work on consoles if needs to be installed on pc?

You use a laptop and tether to the laptop. Then use Windows internet sharing and use an Ethernet cable to the console.

I, personally, use Wifi Tether for root users, a laptop and ethernet to use my 360
