Yes, it's a Verizon phone. As to when, rumors abound that it may be available in the next few weeks. But rumors are just that.

I think the internal hardware is almost exactly the same. Just different casing and no trackball.

Looks pretty sweet! i heard its underclocked to like 750mhz, even though it has the same processor as the N1. Wonder if we will be able to overclock the fire out of this thing!
