HTC Incredible Seidio Extended Battery

for those that have purchased the seidio extended batt: does it work well with the stock firmware in regards to the phone recognizing the bigger battery accurately?

I only ask because the Moto Droid would never read correctly with a bigger capacity battery because the firmware wouldn't allow for it.
