HTC is finished supporting the One M7 smartphone. They officially confirmed today in a Tweet that the HTC One M7 will not be receiving the Android 5.1 update, nor will it receive anything newer than what it currently has. The only exception is the Google Play Edition version of the One M7, which will be upgraded to Android 5.1.
This will leave HTC One M7 owners stranded at Android 5.0.2, but HTC did keep their promise to support the phone for two years. Sound off and let us know if you are an HTC One M7 owner and how you feel about this.
