HTC Aria help

hey guys i have been trying to root my friends HTC aria and i am having a problem rooting it with unrevoked it not for some reason its not detecting the device i installed the right drivers like the video on theunlockr.com the but i am just getting no where any idea's on what i am suppose to do?

i followed all their instructions i installed the drivers and everything before i posted here i just was wondering if i was missing anything cuz i just dont get how its not detecting the aria

...and you are SURE you're using unrEVOked 3.21?

This is an AT&T Aria running Android 2.1 correct?

yes it is a AT&T Aria my friend told me and i looked at the software versionand i know its not flashed cuz their is no SU and he has no clue how to root lol and yes its the latest unrEVOked
