Howdy Kids...S/W to create apps?

You will also need to know Java and you don't need an IDE, but it helps. You may want to check out MotoDev Studio, which is based on Eclipse.

There are several flavors of Eclipse. I read one article saying the Reports (Galileo) version is the one to get. Yet, I see one for mobile programming... Hence my confusion and am not sure if this will help you, Sagebrush:icon_eek:

Eclipse SDK

Version: 3.5.2

but that motodev looks interesting...

Used the MOTODEV for 5 minutes and I recommend it. Much easier to setup than the eclipse path.

I'm going to use it for my next project to fully test it out. dancedroid

Motodev, hands down comes across as a bit easier to grasp than Eclipse. Just my opinion, obviously.
