How to Unroot after 2.2.2 firmware update.

Hi everybody, Im new to all of this rooting and rom's. Throughout my adventure to figure all of this out, these forums were very helpful so I decided to join. I have stumbled into a new situation and am hoping someone can help! My droid has the new firmware (2.2.2) on it but, I belive I rooted my phone following the instructions on how to root a phone with 2.0.1 (if thats even possible). Anyways iI'e tried to unroot my phone and nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?!
