How to turn off Facebook chat on SG3??

I must be missing something because I don't see a way to turn off FB chat on my phone. I have it turned off from the PC but for the life of me...can't figure out how to turn it off on my phone. If there is a way can you please help?? LOL A screenshot would help too!!

My phone only pushes messages. Are you trying to disable that? I, myself have the bionic with ICS update and have yet to have a conversation pop up like on the PC.

When people look at their fb chat they see the cell phone icon next to mine and assume I'm on. I was just wondering if there is a way to remove the icon? Maybe I'll just delete fb and solve the problem forever? Lol

Ha,you may be on this something there. I have as looking thru account setting in the app and I saw something about text messages and linking them to fb. Is that something you possibly have linked or am I missing the whole point of your question?
