How to stop RECEIVING group texts?

My sister likes to send pics of her kids to our family in one group text. Problem is, I then receive 10 different texts from each person commenting on the picture. It drives me NUTS! How do I stop them from coming to me? Is there an "opt out" button? (and no, I'm not going to ask her to send them to me separately. That would be rude. I just want to do it discreetly) Thanks in advance.

These group texts are a major PIA.

I don't know why or how I get included in them,it kind of seems random.But occasionally I get bombed with 20 texts from people I know and it is all just bullsh#t of course.
What is also stupid,is when I respond to one of these conversations,it seems to be ignored,like I can't tell if anyone gets it or not.

Someone needs to explain what really goes on with a bunch of this texting stuff.I also get messages from some people that are MMS,and when I open it...it is just a plain text.
