How to stop 1.3.418 prompt?

Hi All

Anyone know how to kill the prompt for the recent update. It wont install cause of root i assume and i dont really want it. THANKS!!!

Rename /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.apk to BlurUpdater_VZW.apk.bak. Rename /system/app/BlurUpdater_VZW.odex to BlurUpdater_VZW.odex.bak
wipe cache
